Hello,

Happy New Year! I would like to personally invite you to join Vocal Point Choir this upcoming season!

I am SUPER EXCITED about our repertoire this season as it is an excellent selection of music from Broadway musicals that are also movies! Songs from Wicked, Rent, Hairspray, Beetlejuice, Phantom of the Opera, Hair, Moulin Rouge, Dear Evan Hanson and a variety of Disney shows will be featured this season. Lots of opportunities for solos for anyone who might be interested!

We will have open rehearsals on - Tuesday, January 7, 14 and 21st. We welcome anyone who is interested to come and "try us out" to see if this is something you might want to join. No obligation to join and no fees will be required for these 3 weeks!

Rehearsals (including the open rehearsals in September)

Location: WESTDALE UNITED CHURCH (99 North Oval St. Hamilton)

WHEN: Tuesdays from 7pm-9pm.

If you choose to join following the open rehearsals, fees for the Spring season are $125.

Concerts are tentatively set for Friday May 30th and Saturday May 31st at Westdale United.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to seeing you!

Vocal Point choir sang for Caroline Place Retirement Residence on November 12.

It was Vocal Point's first performance of the holiday season!

Caroline Place was the first place that we performed as a choir.  So, it holds a special place for us.

They are always an appreciative audience!

And it’s great practice for our concert in December.

We will be visiting Highgate Residence next week!

Breathing!

If you are interested in learning more about breathing (yes, that involuntary thing we do many times a minute), please check out this video.

It helped Tania, our choir director, visualize what is happening when we breathe and speak and sing.
